How does it work?

VAF-COOL portable evaporative coolers can cool large hot areas far more effectively than regular fans and cost less to run than air conditioning systems. Evaporative cooling works best in dry hot climates as the cooling performance is influenced by the humidity levels. In essence, the lower the humidity level, the greater the temperature reduction. Your VAF-COOL cooler can reduce temperatures by 2°C -12°C depending on the humidity levels and will reduce the temperature in almost any environment, making it more comfortable.
When operating an evaporative cooler, an increase in humidity of approximately two to five percent is produced, depending on the temperature and humidity of the environment. This increase is not noticeable in a well-ventilated areas, where the air produced by the cooler is exhausted.

How to Choose your Evaporative Cooler

As a general rule, we suggest that you aim to change the air 1-2 times per minute when choosing the correct evaporative cooler. To choose the size of an evaporative cooler you need to calculate the cubic metre size of the area you need to cool and divide it by 2 to calculate the square meters. For example – Your workshop has a ceiling height of 3m and a floor area of 5m x 6m.
